Michigan Notary Fees
Acknowledgment: Up to $10.00 per act
Michigan caps the fee for performing a notarial act at $10 per individual transaction or notarial act, regardless of whether the act is traditional, electronic, or remote. Notaries must display a sign or expressly advise the fee in advance, and a separate travel fee may be agreed before travel begins.

How Michigan counts notary fees
Counted per notarial act
Acknowledgment, jurat, oath / affirmation, electronic notarization, remote online notarization and any other notarial act: each notarial act performed is capped at $10.00. The maximum for several acts is the number of acts times the per-act cap.
