CAUTION: The nmlegis.gov results describe SB 230 (2025) as increasing fees from $5.00 to $12.00 (and copy certification $0.50 to $1.20/page, technology fee $25.00 to $60.00) with an effective date of July 1, 2025, and one nmlegis result stated the fees 'were recently increased from five dollars'. However, the search did not return a chapter number confirming enactment, and the Secretary of State's July 2023 Notarial Officer Handbook and 12.9.3 NMAC still show the older $5.00 per acknowledgment / $5.00 per jurat / $0.50 per page / $25.00 remote act schedule. A human should confirm SB 230 was signed (SOS 2025 Signed & Chaptered Bills page) and whether 12.9.3 NMAC has been updated for RON fees. Official sources conflict: nmlegis.gov describes 2025 SB 230 raising fees to $12 effective 2025-07-01, while the Secretary of State handbook and 12.9.3 NMAC still show $5. Enactment could not be confirmed, so no amount is shipped. Verify Section 14-14A-28 NMSA 1978 directly.
